During Watertech 2025, a senior delegation led by Ms. Ayesha Al Ateeqi, Executive Director of the Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative (MBZWI), visited the Foresight booth. The delegation showed strong interest in Foresight’s industrial membrane element manufacturing machines already in operation in the Middle East and held in-depth discussions on regional business expansion, technological collaboration, and talent development.

Launched in 2024 by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, the Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative aims to make water security a central global development priority. The initiative accelerates the research, development, and industrialization of breakthrough water treatment technologies through policy support, funding mechanisms, and global cooperation networks — with a particular focus on low-energy, large-scale desalination solutions to address the growing water challenges in the Middle East while exploring pathways for worldwide application.
During the meeting, Foresight shared insights drawn from its experience in delivering over 40 fully automated membrane manufacturing machines, demonstrating how highly automated and intelligent machine design enables clients to achieve stable, efficient, and scalable production. Leveraging its core expertise in precision motion control and AI-based vision inspection, the company has continuously optimized machine performance for high yield and superior consistency, creating substantial value for clients and supporting localized high-quality membrane manufacturing across the Middle East.
Ms. Ateeqi praised the performance and automation level of Foresight’s machines. Both sides engaged in an in-depth discussion on the potential for further collaboration across the Gulf region, expressing mutual intent to continue strengthening technical cooperation and joint project development. Looking ahead, Foresight will continue to leverage its system-level capabilities in fully automated membrane manufacturing to empower the global pursuit of water security through intelligent machines made in China.
